Former Perlis PKR deputy head and three others quit party

KUALA KUBU BARU: Former Perlis PKR deputy head Keria Senawi and three committee members in various branches in the state have quit the party.

Speaking at a press conference Thursday in Sungai Tengi near here, they said they no longer believed in the party's struggle.

Senawi was PKR's canditate for the Titi Tinggi state seat in the 2008 general election.

The other three were Zakaria Jusoh, Abdul Hamid and Nordin Jaffar.

Earlier Thursday, Kelantan PKR Youth chief Wan Khairul Ihsan Wan Ahmad and its secretary Ezri Zainal Abidin also announced their resignations from the party.
